support
The Hilton Garden Club also supports the community by making donations throughout the year, on a monthly, annual, and as needed basis. We donate to:
Penny Pines – NGC partners with the USDA Forest Service to sustain our national and urban forests. Donations to a Penny Pine plantation will help replace a tree indigenous to damaged areas. www.gardenclub.org/SpecialProjects/PennyPines.aspx
Genesee Land Trust – The organization preserves and protects natural lands and waterways that enhance the quality of life in the Greater Rochester region. It helps by providing wildlife habitat, locally grown food, and connections to nature. http://www.geneseelandtrust.org
World Gardening is a FGCNYS activity. It collects donations from state garden clubs and distributes them to Water for South Sudan and/or Dig Deep, The Navajo Water Project depending on individual club selections. The funds bring safe drinking water to developing countries and the USA. www.gardenclub.org/SpecialProjects/WorldGardening.aspx
Candlelight Tour Donation – Hilton Garden Club is proud to support the 7th District Candlelight Tour and Flower Show.
Parma Public Library – The club presented the Parma Public Library with a gardening book.
